Couple of OP things like bolt pistol, but pretty decent overall. Another generally solid Rattati effort.

Bolt pistol is like a standing no-sway mid-range sniper rifle. It's hilariously deadly in the right context. :D Needs nerf.
A lot of the game feels a lot more balanced though. Had a lot more fun lately.

From a philosophical standpoint, I don't want sidearms to be a "finisher". They should be lethal killers in their own right, just not as versatile. SMGs are good for more than just finishing people off. But they aren't as good as a light weapon. That's my gold standard.
I also haven't tried them yet since the RoF nerf, might have done the trick. By the end of the sidearm event, CCP will have a lot of good data on sidearms.

I know that Rat thought the best way to balance the Bolt was a RoF decrease. However, I think that the Alpha damage is the real issue, and the AA on both the using and receiving end of the Bolt seems a bit strong too.
Lastly, with the broad buff to most sidarms up to the SMG level, I think TTK has gotten a bit quick. I'd dial back all weapons a bit. |

What I like in Delta so far:
1) AV seems to be in a decent spot. A triple rep maddie will still tank most/all solo AV, but die horribly to another tank or two AVers
2) ADS no longer have field superiority. They can definitely be useful if you have AV mostly under control though
3) New damage profile on Combat rifles no longer means instant death at all times
4) Burst HMG no longer instant death no matter what suit you are wearing.
What I dislike:
1) LOL bolt pistol is absolutely insane, way too much damage
2) scramblers/lasers are still useless on all suits but amarr assault
3) Scouts still the very best in too many categories at the same time
4) Rail rifles still far too good at both range and CQC.

Really? I'm almost ready to hang up my rail rifle for good. It's got the range profile I want, but not the damage. And I don't feel it performs well in CQC at all. (I switch to the Magsec SMG or something similar when I have to deal with CQC threats on that fit.)
I felt it might've been over-nerfed a bit over the various times it's been tweaked downwards.
