Can the splash damage please be returned to the Forge Gun ? I see you have been so accommodating to all the other cry babies. Maybe you could show some love for the Forges. Ever since they were nerfed I feel violated. Give us back our splash damage to try and offset the never ending amount of snipers you have created this past hotfix.
Is this the time I start whining and begging for a Respect. Don't nerf my gun gun gun.

Honestly boyo respec QQ never help. Im actually with you, BUT logic behind concept of weapon says there should be some slash, but really not big. If you shooting weapon based on somethin' raily there should be some aftershock. Hell Forge shooting ultra velocity, there should be shockwave on hit.

I know the QQ doesn't work to get Respec. T.
How do you know how big the splash from a forge gun should or should not be? IT was larger before and now smaller. They nerfed it because of all the whining a complaining players did about being sniped by it. If snipers can one hit kill me now, THEN why can't forges get their splash back?
Most ***** snipers sit in the redline behind some form of cover. That is where our old splash damage might help. |

Is this the time I start whining and begging for a Respect. Don't nerf my gun gun gun. You didn't provide any actual reason or numbers as to why FG's need their blast radius back. "Feeling violated" does not entitle you to a buff.
Light and sidearms have had a balancing pass. Heavy weapons will eventually have their day. If you want to positively effect the outcome of that balancing pass then provide some quantifiable evidence as to why the FG needs a buff, because from where I am sitting it is a fairly balanced weapon.

How i can know, its simple physics. If you shooting high speed projectile, its mass needs to be disperse (its that right english word?!) in place around the hit. You can take a look on rail guns on YT if you are more in it Splash is not that big, even if projectile is big like my hand. It can be basicaly count from speed of projectile, mass of it and gravitation.
It will be i think speed x mass / gravitation
with 7000m/s and gravitation 9.8 we need just mass of projectile top count it

Blast radius benefits anti-infantry combat. Vehicles are larger targets so worrying about missing them by a meter is not that much of a concern. I believe this is why FG's lost their blast radius; it was not meant to be an anti-infantry weapon, it is an AV weapon.
That being said, the assault forge gun retained its blast radius. What is keeping you from using that variant?

The inability to hold the charge can be easy to get used to. My assault FG fittings always have a decent sidearm just in case some scout decides to be brave.

The lack of splash is annoying but I am still having no problems making unsuspecting infantry faceplant the road as the run across my vision
Anyway bugger the Forge gun, the Plasma Cannon is even more fun to use! And you can slap it on any suit you wish.
