Its so easy to hit your target without ads so why doeas everyone say you have to its so stupid and you probably have bad aim if you HAVE to. I can hit my targets way easier without ads i dont need pinpoint accurate pin on my sight to know that my shot is gonna be within my hip fire crosshairs.

CCP please de-activate what is left of Aim Assist and show mercs the difference in weapon performance And because everyone can use it we should all stick to circle-jerk Aim-Assist battles??? lame Aim Assist is clearly active on Rifles/Sidearms and makes the hipfiring of these way too effective Innapropriate Irrelevence... Well this because CCP has yet to properly balance the effectiveness of long range weapons short range. Technically you should HAVE to ads with the bolt, but I don't ever expect that do just enjoy it how it is the long range shotgun :) surprisingly it is the best compliment to my shotgun. supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

I only play Dust 514, so maybe that has something to do with it, but AA on Destiny feels like there's a big, huge, freakin', ginormous magnet on the aliens that pulls all my bullets to their heads. I felt OP for all of 5 seconds, and then I died. *this was only in beta, haven't played Destiny since. Utena Tenjou is my prince in shining armor. Starter corp for life!!

I've definitely noticed the aim assist is strong on the hmg and ScR, but those are the only weapons where I've felt it. Oh, and the Laser Rifle. And, yes. Compared to everyone's beloved Destiny.

Its what a lot of those side strafing nubs do. They literally just strafe and let auto aim lock on. You get more out of auto aim the shtter you are. I barely notice it because i am always in control of my sticks and it never does anything for me. In fact a few of 'top' players do this, nubs in pro clothing because dust......... You can test this yourselves. If it don't work for you then i don't know but it's how it works when i have tested it. To summarise. If you are sht then you will get more out of aim assist as it will work for you the less input you have with your sticks. It can also be abused by side strafing and simply letting it aim for you. This is a double whammy because you can negate most damage and not even aim, mad skills right?.........think again. If you are a competent player and you are always aiming and very in control of your shots, then you get nothing out of it except the odd crazy shotgun pellet magnetism. This is all from my observations of it. Flash gaps.
