Will there be changes to the way it is played currently? Do you even PC bro lol?
The current state of PC as a game mode limits the amount of players that can actually play it. Most are stuck in the pubs, and for those players PC is reserved for elite closed beta vets. Since the passive isk was removed from districts there is really no true incentive or gain for lower level players. What would they gain? A small corp would spend more funds then they would make as it is now.
I was wondering what your opinion on this is? Do you think a corporation owning a district benefits them beyond bragging rights? Do you like it as it stands currently, or do you have some new ideas on the charts? Would love to see full scale wars taking place to where smaller corps could not only partake, but benefit financially as well. I will post a formal request in the request section of the forums once I've put my ideas in the right context. Just interested to know if there will be any changes to the way it is currently?

Personally, and obviously for Legion only, I want the whole PC feature to be like "Farms and Fields" with PvE integrated into it.
Basically, you fight over districts like we do now (maybe a little nuanced but we'll see) and once you've claimed them, you can explore them and fight pirate or drone NPCs which have a chance of dropping salvage and have bounty prizes (totally not ripped from Destiny). Basically, you have to earn the money you get from holding a district.
Another possibility could be "renting" districts, or contracting another corp to run you district PvE for you and either they pay up front or you get a percentage. Either way, it integrates more corps than just those that hold districts or don't want to do PvP.

Right now there are more districts than corps that have shown interest in participating. The corps that are giving away districts are having a tough time finding corps that want them.
That said, there are plenty of non-closed-beta-vets that participate in PC. I play in them virtually every night, and I didn't get here until after the launch of the game.
If you have the desire and skills to participate in PC, I would suggest you either find a corp who is participating in PC and whose members mesh with your own personality and playstyle, and join them, or make your own corp and recruit players to your cause.
If any smaller corp wishes to get their feet wet in PC, please contact me in-game. We can split the cost of the attack for you on our of our districts, and use it as a practice for less experienced players in our corp if you don't want to go up against our A team. |

Overall from my point of view PC is a strange, very hard to fix or solve puzzle.
Every scenario presented to me keeps playing out into; "why bother?", or favors "home team" and increasing frustration of everyone involved.
Then slap on the constraints of Hotfix only and we got very limited box with no sand to play with.
I'll tag this thread for feedback though if you guys come up with something worth pursuing Ill let the other more qualified cpm members definitely know about it.

IWS would it be possible in a hot fix to open up the total larger map? i.e. the one that has all the maps stitched together?

As much as I'd like to see changes in PC, I don't think there is a market for it. Even if people think they want to do it, I can't see how they are going to be even remotely successful if they aren't already involved.
I went into a FW battle yesterday solo and there wasn't one person in a squad. Yes, I know, I was also solo. But that's insane.
Pubs are filled with solo players.
If there aren't steps taken to push people toward squad/team play then what is the point?
