If you got threads on reintroducing the SLAV LLAV LDS EHAVs and MHAVs Start a thread up.
Meanwhile I got a pretty good idea on the types of turrets we can bring back in.
I would absolutely love to see the return of logistics LAV`s in true form. I suggest that they are more tanky than regular LAV`s, a bit on the slow side (inbetween tanks and regular LAV speed) and they they crucially DO NOT have a turret.
The vehicle should be all about aiding tanks in battle and repping anything and everything including repairing things like CRU`s and Turret installations.

It would be interesting for repair mechanic to work like a nanohive, not like rep tool, especially with infantry it was frustrating to lock on targets while you were driving. Another problem is collision damage with friendly units, tanks were slower back in the days and it was dangerous to chase them, now it would be even more.

That's a great point. I do remember driving into the back of tanks that slammed on the brakes. A small price to pay for a supportive vehicle role though.
I also really like the idea about an area of effect rep / resupply as opposed to the direct rep channel similar to a repair tool.

This is a thread that is PRE-approved by the Devs. The reports we've gotten from CPM earlier are that Rattati's team is VERY interested in bringing back those vehicles that were removed from the game, if for no other reason than to give new game content for the late players who've never had the chance to experience using them.
The only trick is the MODULES for those "logi" vehicles (how they function, what cooldowns, PG, etc). That is something they have said they have to sit down and work out before they re-introduce the "L" vehicles again. As a ex-Logi Dropship-er, I very much look forward to them returning, but, yeah the modules and bonuses scheme for using them DOES have to be recreated.
I suspect is it the Prize-payoff that Rattati is looking to acheive with the Hotfix sereies. So, it's probably an Foxtrot (or Echo) gift that's coming to us.
But rest assured, it IS on its way.
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...
