Been playing with the DS3 more lately, and I decided to fire up some Borderlands for fun.

In Borderlands, which is largely a PVE game, you can turn about 3 times faster than in Dust. You can do 180s nearly instantly.

I think that Dust, being a PVP focused game, should have at least that same turn speed as Borderlands.

This would probably address most complaints from people about the inability to track people strafing in close quarters.

CCP Rattati, Tear down that turn-speed cap!

Is your sensativity turned up to 100 in dust? what is it set for in borderlands? Increasing sensativity can increase turn speed.

I've been playing with DS3 lately too and the main thing that is so hard for me is the turn speed. If that could be increased it would be amazing! It would help and encourage so many players while also making it easier to respond to scouts, which is a MUCH needed thing. Rattati might this be possible???

Seeing other threads with crazy theorycrafting about aiming and strafing, when this is a much more straightforward and necessary buff.

 In Dust, 100=SLOW, 0=FAST
Try it, set your controls to all 0's, see how much faster you turn.

 No go.

Only difference is that you can feel the acceleration ramp up at 0, whereas there's no ramp up at 100.

I think it gives the impression of speed rather than actual speed.

Are you guys seriously content with the turn speed in this game?

This subforum always blows up with people wanting to nerf movement speed.

But the solution to that problem isn't to nerf anything, it's to buff the turn speed.
