I don't know how I should fit it. Is it meant to be a shield tanker with kincats in its lows? What about an armor tanker with damage mods in its highs? Should it be both? I need some help.
As for what skills I have, I have these maxed out at level 5:
-shield extender/upgrades
-armor plates/repairers/upgrades
-precision/dampening/range amplification
-damage mods/kincats
-core upgrades/engineering/electronics/light weapon operations/sidearm operations/explosives/nano circuitry (basically skills for fitting optimization)
-grenades
-CR/SMG proficiency 5
I only have shield regulation, recharging, and cardiac regs to level 3. Soooo... with that information, what can I do? |

Try shield extenders in the highs 2 comp damps and the rest of your low slots go to comp kin kats

The Min Assault can do everything well, but not exceptional. The thing it's best at among the Assault suits is speed and endurance. I personally use shield extenders and a recharger in the highs, KinCat and reactive plates in the lows.

Depends on your playstyle. If you like to hit-and-run and use a brain and recover quickly with cover tactics, then shields. If you want to be able to tank your first encounter and then use a brain and stay in cover for a loooooooooong time, then use armor.
Dual-tanking is ofc an option, but one I'm not terribly fond of, though I do make sure every single one of my suits can armor-rep naturally by at least one point. (Basic Reactives are sexy).

i use 2 dmg mods 1 complex extender
1 rep and 2 plates either fero or rep plates.
it does fairly well but lacks HP so its a little more squishy then your probably used to but at the same time hits like a truck
