Similar to squad finder, it would be a tab under the "My Corporation" page. It would be a list of corps recruiting, and have 1-2 point of contacts for each corp. It would make things a lot easier recruiting wise, and it would give new players a better idea into actually joining a corp.
Right now, the only way to join one is going to the forums, get lucky with a recruiting squad in squad finder, or get an invite from a random battle. Who the hell actually goes to forums when they first start a game? Unless you commit to much time to this game like the rest of us, you'd never think to go here. Recruiting squads seem less and less these days, although I'm not exactly looking for them. Invites seem to be the best way, but even that's just spam mailing as many people as you can, hoping someone bites.
I'm aware that this will have to be a client patch, but it's about high time we get one. The hot fixes are only going to go so far before we are going to need a hard fix for some of the issues. |

This would be pretty nice. The ability to put recruiting ads up in the client, which is seen a lot more than stuff on the forums.

Is there any talk of a client patch coming soon, or have they scrapped the idea? I understand probably not right away, but at least one more planned? |
