I mean, have you noticed how many DUST players keep paying $15/month to keep their EVE account active? When CCP decided to go to PS3 so as not to cannibalize their existing market I think they underestimated how many EVE players play other games. Having a FPS game in the EVE universe just means they can make more money off their EVE players, by offering them something they want, something they can do when they are bored in EVE. When playing Legion they will even be able to watch EVE chat channels to see when a fleet is forming up.

Can we expect to hear any news or announcements on the Legion or Dust front there? Nothing on the front page of the EVE Vegas site indicated that anyone from Shanghai was attending the event.

Even a "Yes, we are working on it. Here's a really cool picture!" would be great. It better be an actually picture of legion though, not just dust with a slightly new top hub, more plant graphics, and a new label. we know our game when we see it, CCP.

Expect most of DUST, at least most of the stuff that works, to be imbedded in Legion. ItGÇÖs existing content, and allows them to focus their Dev time on adding other stuff. That Legion demo used a working build, and yes, it was a heavily modified version of the Spine Crescent map, but why throw away a perfectly good map? Most Dropsuits, Weapons, equipment and combat mechanics will be the same as in DUST. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
