A militia only battle. Is it an MMOFPS if the money, skills, and gear all don't matter? The other note, is that not only would this be a client patch thing. It'd likely be a substantial thing in general, as the game would need to be modified to restrict what type of fittings you can use for different matches. And then it's going to need to check your fits, and check that for the battle finder, and limit your choices to those fits when you try to spawn. It touches a lot of things. CPM1 Elect. This is more in line with what CCP Z discussed for Legion in terms of restricting entry into tournaments or match zones by combined or averaged suit meta scores. Again, to reiterate Soraya's statement, this is an unlikely feature for Dust's current development path. Try the new Planetary Conquest Mode!

Remaining players numbers - which can barely support balanced matchmaking - would splinter even more. That is why any new battle queues should be out of the question. People would enjoy Dust a lot more if they accepted the fact that EVERYTHING is subject to change

I'd imagine that Legion's backend will be built differently, and hopefully able to handle more types of restrictions and settings. Hopefully variable squad size limits or something too. Maybe their could be an event in the special contracts for this thought. Where skills would altogether be cancelled out and all gear would be unlocked and available to every one.
