Tac RR: low clip, Medium to long range (Shorter than breach) slow firing (similar to bolt pistol mechanic of firing)
Burst RR: larger clip than breach, Short to medium range, fires like the breach RR with longer intervals and a 4 round burst
Breach CR low clip, long range, scope of the CR, fires like an ACR with harder hitting rounds and less RoF
Tac CR low clip, Medium to long range, high damage, relatively quick firing (A burst CR like mechanic where you have to time your rounds) increased kick
Breach ScR: low clip, long range, A harder hitting AScR w/ less RoF and can fire a long period of time before over heat (but before clip depletion)
Burst ScR: Clip larger than breach, Short to medium range, fires like a Tac w/ quick intervals of bursts, very quick overheat
Each race has a variant it should be exceptional at PR-Assault RR-Breach CR-Burst ScR-Tactical so the breach ScR for instance should not be as good as the STD RR variant.

I always felt and thought that this was CCP`s plan from day one. In fact I am pretty sure they said themselves that they did want to have all variations of the different rifles.

I support all racial stuff in Dust! Since I am the one person dumb enough to go through with it. *Glances at regular Combat Rifle* Not always for the best. |

The problem here is can this be implemented entirely server side without having to update the client?

CCP Rattati said that creating new items based on models from existing ones can be done via hotfixes.
