The only thing I've noticed is less Combat rifles are being fielded, that's for sure. Have not noticed anything about the RR, though.
And after trying my CR out on my lvl5 Minmatar Commando, it makes perfect sense. After all, even armour tankers have a shield buffer.

Yes for sure. I run nothing but combat rifles and now that it takes a bit more work to get through shields it can be pretty tough. Especially against caldari suits. I don't even bother with the ACR much, it has taken the biggest impact.
RR has range, hybrid profile(edged to armor), and cqc isn't all that bad. Of course boosted sidearms (bolt pistol OP) covers that.
Yeah RR is now the defacto weapon, if you are not sure what to run.

I'm not noticing any difference.There are still a very large number of CRs.

I remember back then when skill books and skill points actually mattered to upgrade your guns, mods, suit. If people wanted the ftom gun it would take them at least 9m sp to make it competitive. |

I've seen more RRs than usual, but that's most likely because most of the maps I've played since HF Delta have been out-door, large maps (such as Manus Peak).
In more enclosed spaces however, I see HMGs and SGs with the occasional AR.

I haven't noticed a change in the light weapon meta. Maybe Ratatti has data on the matter. But so far I see an over abundance of combat rifles and rails, and shotguns ofc, if I do see an AR now it is a breach but ARs are still rare.

I haven't noticed more RR's but I have noticed more Caldari suits since the CR shield nerf. That's ok though, cause now my near maxed out AR isn't useless anymore. Hell, got almost 30 kills with the gek in a manus peak dom the other day.

I see Rail Rifles, Assault (Plasma) Rifles, and Combat Rifles about the same, among the other weapons too.
Personally, I've seen a slight downtick in Scrambler Rifles. And Assault Scrambler Rifles are non-existent due to their accidental nerf. (ROF 650 -> 500. Will be corrected back to 650 soon[tm]).

You want to know the nail in the coffin for it though?
They increased the heat buildup for it is what I hear.
Nothing like overheating an AScR before a regular ScR.
