Everyone forgot that close range weapons even exist aside from cloaky shotgun scouts.
Everyone is using sniper rifles, rail rifles and bolt pistols, along with the odd combat rifle and scrambler rifle.
I don't even know why (aside from sniper rifles).
As a Gallente, this saddens me.

It's actually the most useful suit to dealing with those long range people, closing the distance happens really quickly.
Well, the MOST useful fit would be to bring my own long range weapon, but I refuse to go down to their level :P

TAR is more common now than AR. Bolt pistol is beast if you can aim. chargesniper is my new lover. I cuddle with it somewhere near the objective high above everybody. I use more mk.0 and ck.0 scouts with NK+BP it's expensive but fun.

Give it a couple more weeks. The Bolt Pistol is going to be part of fotm builds everywhere. I think the damage boost to it was excessive.
It wrecks face harder than ALL of the other rail weapons, and I don't think it's supposed to do that. It can keep the current stats it has now, but the aim assist for it HAS to go...
You can't have something with the power of a sniper rifle running Aim Assist. That has "wrong" written all over it.
All the bolt pistol really needed was a range buff, and maybe even a clip size increase. Not a damage buff.
Sniper rifles seem to be in a good spot now. They have good damage, and the tactical is especially well-behaved.
Again, another week or so, and you are gonna have proto bolt pistols dominating everything... Let's hope not.
Set your goals high, and shoot for the moon; even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars.

WHAT! Boltpistol is aim assisted? that is unnecessary. you DS3 users have easymode.

lol well i've been using the ds3 better part of a few months now.
...and the Bolt Pistol is going to be "IT", and i'm going to cheese the ever-loving fk outta that gun til ppl start crying for a nerf.
