No amount of cloak fiddling is going to really do a thing.
Scout suits are broken because they have no role, or any drawbacks that require players to rely on teams extensively.
A lot of the stuff scout players can exploit, like light weapons and remote explosives honestly should not be given to them, or at least in combination with cloak. The suits are suppost to have bonuses truly focused scouting, yet the suit only allows for excessive surprise attack power in the form of a stealthy light assault suit with cloak. |

but they could do all these things before the cloak out and no one cared or noticed. it's the cloak plain and simple, not the REs, not the shotguns, it's the fault of nothing but the cloak.
to be honest i am sick of arguing about the mechanics of this game. i gave up crying "scouts are OP" when destiny came out.
just get a gallente or amarr scout in your squad with passive scans to help u see them, or better yet get a Gal Logi who will light them up like christmas day

I spend a lot of time ripping on scouts under my assaults name I suggested side arms, but used a shotty on this scout so I guess I was the pot calling the kettle black. So I decided I am only going to use side arms with him... well apart from av and sniping.
It didn't taste like abortion.?.?.
