Scope: love it the lines on side let me know if i need to adjust my aim up or down when following a target left to right(vice versa) while the line in the middle helps me see if i need to move left or right to line up the shot, and the dot is small enough for pinpoint accuracy without obscuring the targets head.
However the dot can be lost to blue'ish/gray'ish backgrounds.
And due to the range decreases most of my favorite spots are no longer viable/possible
These were the questions I had almost to a T. Haven't had a chance to play yet so I'll check it out tomorrow morning probably.
Couple quick questions if you don't mind. So when you line up a shot on a target with the Charge, does just the Dot glow red or do the wings on the sides also start glowing? I would like to see the wings glow as well but I'm sure I can adapt either way.
The dot on certain backgrounds, with how small it is, do you notice you have an issue locating the dot and aiming properly if a target is on one of those surfaces or is it just a momentary loss because it is stationary? Basically, do you lose it even if you are moving the scope trying to acquire a target?
I guess the range nerf isn't a huge issue to me, as most of my kills are 250-300 meters anyways, even with the charge.
One question you didn't touch on. The zoom. Is there enough of a difference that it is noticeable/helpful or can you not really tell the difference?

1.the dot glows red haven't really noticed if the wings change i have a twitch finger so the opportunity to notice such things is slim.
2.the dot is very small and when trying to drag it over a enemy that has a blue/gray wall behind him you can lose its location if focused on him, i've found it easier to move my scope ahead of them and time my shots.
3.i have had trouble finding what i deem safe locations while still being in range and having a good vantage, so if using a charged i would recommend at least one complex dampener to get under enemy vehicle scans.
4.or be a scrub like me and park a tank/ds by you, keep in mind i only use the thales professionally, the charge and tactical was just me testing them
5.sorry it took me so long to reply been testing many things today
1: O.K. . I just usually use the charge so I may be holding that R1 for a while before I let it rip so I was wondering if there was more of an indicator than just the little dot in the center.
2: Yeah, lead and let the target run into the shot instead of trying to follow and match stride for stride. I already do this, so it shouldn't be a problem
3: May have to mess with the dampener. I usually just run damage mods and a good sidearm. Like I said, I'm usually within about 250 meters anyways.
4:I have a couple methana's in my stash I use once in a while. Park it behind the hill or a building and walk to my overwatch position. Always nice to have that quick getaway. Of course, I'll probably be running CalMando so that shouldn't be as big of an issue.
5: Kindness is OP! J/K, No, no problem at all. I appreciate any responses right now. I'm just itching to get on and get to shooting people in the face from 300 meters. :)

Awesome, good to know about the wings.
As for the Jeep, from what I've gathered, as long as I don't recall it I can go back to it no matter how far. I've walked as far as 100 meters and been able to return to it later on (4-5 minutes after feeling my spot is compromised). Can someone confirm this for me as I want to make sure I'm not dishing faulty information.
It's no different than someone stealing it and running off (so much for offering rides to random blueberries anymore LOL).

The ammo nerf on the charge has made it so that doing supportive things like popping uplinks and nanohives is a no-go. You simply can't spare the ammo for it anymore.
Yeah, I thought about that as well. It was one of my favorite things to do before, especially uplinks on top of buildings or flats. However, as you said, ammo is going to be too precious to waste on an uplink for 5 WP.
Actually, I can't say that. If taking out that uplink means my team is able to hold on to a null cannon because the redberries can't spawnflood, I might still take them out. Nanohives, however, are going to sit there the entire match for all I care. Those simply aren't worth it.
