just watched prophecy trailer recently ive played dust since day one never put much thought into eve until i seen trailer lol seen trailer was like ya i have to have this game

Why would you breach a ship/ station without Heavily armed troopers with assault weapons and riot shields?
Did you see that Amarrian trying to use the Laser at close range?

You know I actually discovered a cool item in EVE the other day.
Cost me 20 Million ISK but I was able to contribute a Amarrian Marine Counter Boarding Company to a series of successful campaigns against a vile Blood Raider.

Right? That whole scene is NOT how you would work that situation. I saw three scouts and three assault suits sprinting into gunfire, and only two were actually firing back. What was their plan? "We're gonna get in there really fast, and fire laser weapons at close range. Scouts first, because they're fast, and the enemy has heard how OP they are, so they'll be scared shitless!"
Once they breached, they would have two-three sentinal HMGs with logi's guarding uplinks at multiple locations across the ship. Bringing in more troops without needing a troop ship. The amarr breach onto that ship was just horrible. Running out into the open with no cover or covering fire. That guy at the end got plasma cannoned . Someone could have at least thrown a flux grenade.
You guys check out the sweet caldari pilot suit next to the cal scout @0:52
We can only wish we got that suit for vehicle bonuses.
Also those amarr dropships would not survive very well in dust
They look like a very easy target.

Agreed, though it would be commandos in first laying down suppressive fire with AScRs and LRs with logi's repping them. Assaults would be putting surgical precision shots on enemies with Viziams and scouts would be doing clean up.

Defiance has corrupted my lexicon a bit, just like Firefly did. "Shiny" is my go to word for "excellent". Pity Defiance turned out to be a bleh combination of Mass Effect and Borderlands, it had so much potential. The show on the otherhand is very well done.

The premise of the video is the Amarr Empire taking action against the Drekar Allaince, who have featured in many CCP video's, they represent capsuleers and not the actual empires.
Funnily enough that Amarrian dude in the hood at the start of the clip looks an awful look like Ex PIE Inc pilot Archbishop.......we finally found him!
Oddly enough he is also in Mamet where the Mamet 500 incident went down.

The Prophecy trailer shows something that could be completely amazing. been EVE player since June 3rd 2004 and i love the stories and the lore so to see what looks like a new EVE gate being built by the Amarrians gave me an ickle tingle. i just hope there is a new novel comign out to tie in with the (hopeful) winter expansion for something like this to explain it all. i've just started reading the Tony Gonzales Triology (Ruthless, Empyrean Age and Templar One) again.
there is so much potential to be had i hope its realized in Legion

it should eithe rbe in your hangar or in a station you need to pick it up from which you will find in assets, they're all on your neocom on theleft. just hover the mouse over to find them. i'm not subbed to eve atm otherwise i'd give you a hand. spent many hours in the new player channels helping folk out in my year sin eve lol
