I wish they could change the overheat mechanic to be based on what you're shooting at instead of the time you spend firing, but **** is it good to have something to counter those damn Burst HMG heavies all over the place. I was saying no way to the op - The LR is in a great place right now. I went through a stage of using it loads when I first got proto Amarr assault. They increased the zoom in 1.8, but I think they left the sensitivity the same as the old zoom, so it's over-sensitive now, which is annoying. Sure you can tweak the ADS sensitivity in the settings menu, but then it throws you off with every other weapon. Best PvE idea ever!

Everyone knowing where you are with a lazer rifle is bad news its not much of a close quarters weapon. I am shocked scouts don't use it to bate people into some sweet side arm kills.
