Anyone else feel that one day the Minmatar Assault is going to be FoTM? Does the speed and the tank in both shield and armor not sound appealing to anyone?
I've learned to not rage at this game anymore because it just doesn't matter anymore.

Its been my main fit. I appreciate the speed even more since I started a caldari alt 4 event and felt like I was in my minmando suit. Really wish the minmandos had more slots. Was gonna max the commando out but that much SP for 1 slot isn't that important at the moment. I like the assault bonus as well, clip size is huge for CR. |

It is a great suit, but you need a scout in squad with passive scans and/or a galogi or you can get eaten up by decent scouts.

Didn't have an issue with the shield regen. yesterday. Remember when we were being naughty in that Fw match?

Well to me I hate the regen of the Min that's why I only use it a shotgun with it I sprint at a 9.66 sprint speed and still dampened as much as a Min or Amarr scout with 1 comp damp, but i have 750 hp. Which is why I use my Cal assault in pubs because the min is only good at shot gunning in a Proto suit, but I usually run adv suits in pubs and I like the regen better for the Cal assault

I'm pretty excited that I should be able to upgrade the ADV shield mods to PRO now that the CPU is being adjusted. This should help considerably.

1x Proto Flux
1x Wiyrkomi Nanite Injector
throw a flux right into the enemies faces, melt them one after another with 200 SMG rounds afterwards. I dont think any other suit can do something similar as effective with SMGs. |

Prolly 80% of players are looking only at total ehp/dps. So no, i can't ever see Minnie suits being fotm.
And at higher levels of gameplay the tradeoff between races is still very real. Biggest question for me is what role does the minAssault have in squad composition?

Min assault is decent but too many players have the stand and deliver attitude. All the other races have more ehp to perform those duties so no. Everyone will realize the buff is their but the suit is still weak overall and will move on, just not a disproportionate amount weaker.
It won't be FoTM. Also, with profile change for projectiles the primary min weapon will be affected too and im sure many people are cautious about that. I am part of that crowd as i am exclusively minmatar.
The minmatar is a great adaptable suit for front line or flanker duties. Its a good cross between a scout and assault.
Hit and run warfare is its style. You should wiki guerrilla warfare and tactics if you wanna good idea on how to use a min assault.
Too many people just rambo out and the minmatar can do that to some degree but that is not the design of the suit.
Wish minmatar got an explosive bonus for the flaylock...could have used that very well.

This fit is really ugly, swap that tank for a shield regulators or speed or reactive plate, being that tanked and running under 8 with only a 9 hp regeneration and cache weapons is foolish, drop a damage mod and use the ishi smg and the boundless breach, six kin has nothing on those .
