Expect to see a lot of the tryhards who "quit dust forever" coming back on the weekends and Mondays. You do cap out rather quick, however there are other event-like things so the people who go hard core on it every day will be sick of it every Sunday after they're pretty much done with everything.
I mean for **** sake, most of us weren't logging on dust more than a couple days a week anyway. Not much will change for the people who are really committed to Dust. |

I caped VoidWalker in three days nad that was great fun, hell you can even change the atributes later. Now i working on sunsinger and there is some difference, basicaly it subagressive support class, but hell i want to support fireteam I was in that club too, i though i will leave dust for sure, but Destiny s just different. Different style and lore, how i told efore its like comparing Destiny with that Star Wars aspect against Dust aspect of Star Trek.

Committed, or addicted? Speaking of being committed, that's exactly what should happen to anyone committed to Dust. Committed right to an asylum~
I jest, I jest... maybe... >.> I'm sure most of those who "quit" actually came back for the MCC though.

im actually a little annoyed that apparently level 30 is the max until the DLC is released. its like come on what is this an MMO or a pour money down the drain for Bungie fest
before i even buy the DLC im just going to max out another class first. im not going to buy into the hype of "omg everyones leveling up faster than me" just to sink another $35 |

Oh, I'm sure there are. People with 40-60 million SP couldn't care less, they've got everything they want, but I'm sure just about everyone below that 40 million mark is relatively interested.

Don't say stupid things. If you like this game you have no reason other than a lack of time to not participate in 10 games to receive a million or equivalent of a million SP just for playing 10 games regardless of how well you do. If you don't have a high SP character you should be excited at the thought of so much free SP. I haven't touched Dust for 2 weeks now and I even went and played 10 games. Debating on if I should do it today with another char...
As for Destiny not having it's max level available yet - duh, that's like every other MMO out there. You never get to play to the max level if they have additional things to offer, later on. |

Everyone who understood what Destiny was going to be through Bungie's explanations ,understood how Bungie was going to do it. A Linear Story line and Timed Payed DLC's for expansion.. So players who play with their friends are forced to purchase updates to keep up with their circle.
It's how Halo has worked... CoD... And Linear Story lines is how nearly every MMO has been built since WoW... But there is a massive inherent problem with linear storyline content in a RPG-MMo'ish environment.. It costs to much money to maintain.
Star wars online, WoW, LOTRO, GW2.. Even ESO.... They all have massive problems as a MMORPG like product pusher because creating endless linear storyline content costs ridiculous money and time.
Where CCP figured out along time ago with EVE online that building a structured Box that they then filled with Sand for players to make their own storyline, lore and essentially Sandcastles... is much cheaper and provides a richer gaming experience.
Destiny was meant always to be a PVE focused shooter that was Space themed. It was advertised as that... The Beta showed this... The Dev blogs talked about it. PVP was merely following the WoW model of having to PVP to gain equipment and gear. a Reward based system rather then a competitive based system.
DUST has always had a unique aspect that gets people emotionally invested more then any elaborate storyline could. They make you buy your crap and then make you watch as you die and loose it. That item loss and initial personal investment in suits is what hooks people... Puts you into the moment no matter what is going on in life. (That feeling is even there with billions of ISK and no way to spend it)
If you can get passed that initial Battle academy's terrible and lazy implementation and the transition to general population that CCP in no way prepares or teaches you for...
Then DUST's initial base concepts will hook you, Customization, Risk vs reward.. and Social aspects from EVE have more going on in DUST then nearly any other console game other then maybe Final Fantasy A realm Reborn.. |

But Destiny is not MMO, it have its aspect in social (making firesquads, PvE Strikes/Raids and coop), but stll its FPS with multiplayer elements. If someone mistakens it for MMO that can be a big problem, but Bungie never told "We working on MMOfps".
