Funny you mention that. Within an hour bungie shrugged that DDOS off and it's been fine since. Super easy to do when you plan for it and build your network anticipating the inevitable DDOS.
DDOS is very hard to deal with if you get caught with your pants down aka are not prepared at all for it.
