Meh.
I already put my ten in with my starter fit and went around 1:1.
I was excited about the event going in but all I saw today was the same old thing.
Roof top camping RR, tanks, snipers, etc and mercs reviving. I mean red line snipers? Really? Perhaps even more than usual if you can believe that.
Players trying to go 15-1 instead of 15-15.
Players only out for themselves.
I read other posts about how it's about killing not being killed. For one lousy weekend I disagree but whatever.
If we don't reach the goal oh well. TBH I thought I would care but now...meh.
The first one felt cool. Guess the community is a bit different now.

Matches I've been to have mostly been the same. No reckless players with fun fits.
I've been dying a bit more though since I started running AV more often to take care of pesky ADS. PLC + SwL = Bipolar Harmony |

I got proto stomped HARD lastnight.... on every server.
I didn't even make it through a whole game.
I went back to Destiny....

There are hearty ambushes that drop to 0/0, and those where there are still pseudo-Q-syncs and the MLT team drops to 0 but the PRO team sits at 30.
I try to make the most of things. MD, PLC, NK, etc. My favorite is preaching the kill-and-be-killed philosophy to those pesky clacky ck.0's.

really? because I'm having so much fun right now!! Makes me wish I was at the first one too.
I'm trying so many different suits to get a feel for them. and because all of my stuff are militia I'm making so much isk I don't know what to do with it!! bwahahahahahahahaha
my kd/r has dropped so fast though, I think my MU level is waaaay at the bottom.
but this is what I think is happening... Most of the information on what is going on in Dust is discovered in the forums. I (and I bet a ton of players) always skip the message at the log-in screen. So most new players don't know anything about the challenge to begin with.
I haven't yet, but I think it's up to us to spread the word through local chat etc. to get people motivated.

Well I've donated tons of clones to the challenge. I'll buy 20 cheap mil fits a match and try to run through them all. Having a blast jumping into a pit of heavies with no expectations of walking away. Never really used mass driver till last night. I'm not really good with it, but man does it **** people off. |
