When I push down on the left stick to run, a good amount of times it sends me to the match leaderboard page. I have to hit circle ONLY ONCE because if i press it twice it sends me to the overview map. The same thing happens when i just push the stick a little too hard in one direction. Like when I'm in a gun fight and trying to dodge bullets, and I get sent to the ******* leaderboard. That's where I found out the circle more then once opens up the map. Frantically hitting the button and swearing causes me it cancel my cancel? I'm not really sure how that happens, but without fail it'll send ,me to the overview map.
I'm assuming it is when I go right or near the right direction, because that is the button on the D pad, but this is getting ridiculous. It's happened to me a lot, but this last match it happened 10 times, 5 of which were in the middle of a fire fight.
Please, what the **** is going on here? |

I think your controller is broken. Mine used to do basically the same thing; happened intermittently so I couldn't tell if it was the game or my controller. About two weeks ago it just so bad that I bought a new controller and that solved the problems |

About two weeks ago it just so bad that I bought a new controller and that solved the problems It indeed is caused by the controller, namely a rubber spacer right below the left stick wearing out which causes a pressure reliant tape cable to generate false button presses.
Luckily, <20 minutes of your time and a bit of electrical/tesa tape is all you need to (usually) permanently fix this.
Two of my controllers displayed the behavior you describe and both work without fault to this day.
You can take a benign object, -you can take a cheeseburger and deconstruct it to its source...
