After 4 days of destiny... the end (only left 2 strike mission + all secrects and cracked crafting system).
PvP... is ... borring ;)
PvE mayby someday for grinding....

I didn't rage quit, I wasn't lured away by another shooter, I fell asleep holding the controller.
(let the narcolepsy jokes commence!)
My golf discs and bicycle would have to break for me to come back.
Pity, I had a couple of weeks of real fun in the past year.
K/D(r) matchmaking fixes the whole game. That's a promise.

came back after a couple month break.. dust is fun again no other fps can i troll the same way... plus there's the passive SP to come back and see like 2.9 million for doing nothing.
if i feel like easy mode i can roll academy alt
if i want more a challenge i can pub
if i want to battle minds with petty sub-trolls i can hit up minmatar local
my air game doesn't suffer much from taking a break
i can fly 18mil sp dropship
i can drive a resilient methana and hop out/MD someone
i dont need a squad for that
i can troll with methana and pick my battles
i can get a good laugh from the numerous trolls on forums
i know the maps like no other game i play
i can throw passive SP around on some forgotten alt
i can pray for hatemail and rejoice at it's arrival
theres still more i want to do
what i dont miss is the frame rate stutters.. sux when flying ADS.. too bad "hotfix" is somewhat of a misnomer
i dont really need destiny because defiance fills the same PVE niche for me.. i tried destiny beta i think if i hadn't been burnt out on borderlands it would have been more appealing

To those of us who **** in Destiny like we did in Dust - it's pretty fun.
Doing the heroic daily (level 26) with a group of 22's and 23's was a lot of fun, that's real gaming. One small mistake and you'd do it all over again.

I'm back as of this week from about an 8 month hiatus, and while some things (What in the world happened to paper mache scouts?!) are really different, everything I love/hate/love about Dust is still basically the same as it was in open beta. The forums are still their own game, too. I've missed this madness as well.
Back just in time to bust out the plasma cannon for the million clone challenge. |

Im not back i just palying it like 4x1.
4 time destiny onetime dust.
Its ggod to have versatility in gaming.
Its quite sad, that the Dust dont have the moving technics like Destiny (dont get me wrong i mean proper not cluncy moving).
Becuase i went mental, when i was in DoM TODAY once again catched by hils soil for aprox five seconds.
And btw little offtopic here..

How long did that game titanfall last? I remember it getting hyped(not destiny hyped, but still pretty hyped) I haven't heard about it since the second week of release...
Seeing that destiny only has 2x levels, I would think it would take people a good 3-5 days to reach end level content, then grind in pve for the best gear and in pvp and stuff. The DLC's would have to be pretty big to keep it on peoples minds. Should take a person 1-2 weeks to get everything done on that game. Just my opinion though. |

Try BF 1943. It's brick simple to learn, amazingly deep, and way more indicative of personal skills/tactics than this game ever dreamed of being. 12v12 matches roll up almost instantly, and one smart player can flip the whole thing solo. It's $9.99, I think.
