I find it quite odd that the caldari sentinel has that much amount of armor. In fact it has the biggest amount of armor on a % base then any other caldari suit. So lets put this in perspective:
-Caldari scout has 35% armor and 65% shields -Caldari assault has 36,5% armor 63,5% shields -Caldari sentinel has 42,5% armor and 57,5% shields
So the caldari sentinel has the lowest shield to armor ratio then any other caldari suit. And ive thought the sentinel is supposed to have the best shield systems the caldari had to offer. In my opinion the caldari sentinel should have 35% armor and 65% shields on the base without any modules.
TL;DR
-Caldari sentinel should have more shields and less armor!

Well to be fair, it has the reverse of the Gallente Sentinel, which has as much shields as the Caldari has armor.

Yes but the caldari sentinel cant regen armor on standard lvl due to the lack of a lowslot module. It has 3 highslots and 0 low. Which makes it impossible to run it as a true solo heavy. Moving armor HP to the shields would aswell allow me on higher variants to run a regulator instead of a repper/reactive plate. So by moving like 200HP from armor to the shields you could make more use of the sentinels good shield recharge. And it wouldnt affect the max amount of HP on the suit.
Another thing is it is not a direct mirror of the gallente sentinel. The caldari slot progression is like this:
-STD: 3 high, 0 low -ADV 3 high, 1 low -PRO: 4high, 1 low
the gallente progression is like this: -STD: 1 hih, 2low -ADV: 1 high, 3low -PRO: 2 high, 3 low
So the only time where it is actually a exact mirror on modules and HP is at ADV. STD and PRO have different layouts. To make use of the caldari sentinels layout it would require to move armor HP over to shields.
