Actually... hate to break it to you, but since you come to EvE related forums and sites already the advertisement sites are actively targeting you with a "similar field advert".
Clear your cookies and Cache, and you might notice a lot of the ads mysteriously vanish.

Also, yeah, just clear your cookies and cache. I did that and I kept seeing advertisements for spam and birth control. I broke Google Adsense apparently.

Just a desperate move to save their holy cashcow. 1 year ago eve had like double the amounts of players. Its just that eve is the most boring game avaible and not many want to stick to it. That and the akward controll of the ships are the main reason why most people dont want to play it.
They say when you die you see a white light which then forms the line of:
"GAME OVER! PLEASE INSERT COIN"

How in the world are "School Computers" exempt from this? All it would take is You or someone else to log in via that computer, and flag it up with EvE related content ONCE to trigger the advert tagging.
Do explain what sites "all these adverts" have been appearing on, because I have not seen one over the past year, not even on game review sites.

i live in the 21st century and i havent seen an ad in the better part of a decade. not sure what your talking about lol.
adblock and firewalls are really the best thing since sliced bread.
also IF legion comes out.
hopefully it goes to ps4 where it belongs like any other shooter.

Someone is clearly unfamiliar with the concept of "targeted advertisement." Since you are a DUST nerd browser companies automatically put EVE ads as priority for you.
If Star Citizen becomes more than a fun ponzi scheme and releases you would begin getting ads for that. |
