Implementation of this, above nearly anything else I can possibly think of (and I do try to be as open-minded as possible), would get me to play DUST as frequently as I used to.
If you can give it a push, CPM friends, I would be forever indebted and honour CPM1 as the greatest CPM in history.
Unfortunately being the greatest CPM in history won't mean much considering how great a chance that you will be the last CPM in history for DUST 514 at least, and considering that if you do persuade CCP to implement this there is almost nothing CPM0 has done to top it. But that's all null and void.
Just please. PLEASE. Words cannot describe how amazingly worthwhile this change would be.
Features and Ideas Discussion is beneath something of this magnitude. This is a request from a disillusioned merc to those who are meant to represent us, to push for the dream of what DUST could have been, even as it fades.

There are also bugs associated with this.
Despite repeated attempts, I can only rarely move between squads in the same team. Even if I have an invite, I'm still told I can't join squad.
It's proven rather infuriating, especially as the last time it happened was in a PC match where I was the assigned squad scanner...

So it IS feasible though? Arkena mentioned that there are some technical limitations with it, and I can guess at some. Haven't played an FPS other than DUST for a long time, and I can't remember if any of them let you join friends who were already in a game. Pretty sure CoD let you use the PS3's XMB interface to mail an invitation for someone to join your game, for example.
If it is possible then I can at least I know what I hope for is not beyond hope.
