So the day has come.
This game and it's community has been one of the best I've been a part of. Despite the games flaws, bugs, and empty promises, I still loved it. No game ever has made me rage so hard or feel so good about a down to the wire win. Even if much of the fun was the anticipation of the next best thing that never came, the joy of the anticipation was still there. I watched it grow from Codex to now and often did feel as though I was helping to shape it's future.
This game held me through Ghost and Titan fall, two games I was destine to buy before I became an immortal mercenary. This game gave me the opportunity to learn about the Eve Universe, a place that I had to leave behind during it's beta due to a real call of duty: Enduring Freedom.
This community, despite being the biggest bunch of arrogant, trolling, grieving, douche bag sociopaths I've ever met, has some of the best pockets of friendlies you'll ever meet and I hope to keep in touch with many of them. I'll continue to idle in #Dust514 and beyond, maybe even remain subscribed to /r/Dust514. This forum saw more post from me then any game ever, including my beloved Homeworld. Never did get to 1000 likes.
My clone is now going into stasis, not biomass. But I knew this day would come when my kind was told we weren't worth the effort and that statement was met with thunderous applause.
If it ever comes back to console, my clone will again land boots on the ground. If that day never comes, he will drift in space forever.

Most of all, thank you all the Devs that tried their asses off to get this right. Deep down we all know it was an up hill battle.

Man, I had this huge impression you were a longtime Eve player when you showed up to fanfest with the patches (I sowed the amarr one onto my chrome messenger bag).
You invested so much into those hoodies n such if I remember.
To say nothing of the website or videos.
You will obviously be sorely missed.
