I liked the proposal that no WPs could be gained while killing in the redline or something of that nature. If you reduce the SR's damage then reduce the ScRs, RRs, CRs, BPs, SMGs, and MDS by the the same percentage as the snipers because incase you didn't know the CQC weapons ar in the same route with RoF instead of alpha damage.
Do that then speak.

How does no WP in the redline means no effort to push out? To gain WPs you must push out. It is to encourage snipers to get away from their cozy nests and step out of it. The blueberries now run circles in the MCC even when the threat seems to be too strong. Damage reduction does nothing. Damage mods will be placed and blueberries will just continue to sit in the redline with better nanohives to make up for the damage reduction.
I agree with the blueberry thing but while I reply to you I have to ask... Do you snipe regularly? Like every other game or even spend a day log in to log out sniping?
Next is how many good sniper spots do you know out of red that have great vantage points but don't always get spammed with uplinks or have people waiting for someone to go to a specific place on the maps like towers and hills and that spire building on one of those maps I forgot the name?
As I sniper I move after so and so failed kills and assists or after I racked up a bunch of kills from idiots running towards a dead body I just killed to revive it or in general just running across thinking it's safe while the person behind them gets the same fate.
Extra: the red isn't so cozy when other snipers know your in the red or DS or ADS or even forge gunners.... Hell even that suicidal scout risking his life to take out one more redline sniper...
Also I posted on another sniper post that some people get excited to takeout a noob or anyone with a vantage point better or equal to theirs.... henceforth "FUN" or competition of snipers so to speak.

That is also true but my bigger issue when sniping on the battlefield are the cloaked units... and if redline had to be removed, then i wish that they remove the "cloaker campers"
While I agree on getting rids of campers I still would say it will just turn into CODust and everyone will have scrs, rr, cr, and forge guns if not vehicles added.
All I can say on removal of redline to a definitive point is it's necessary in this game as a "fine line" so to speak and I feel nobody can offer a concrete solution for it to a radical extent but instead whine and moan like someone during their first time.
I only use basic cloak so short time=no bonus It is only for the escape or flank around a group of meat bags or to get some distance away with being counter sniped while moving for a new position.

If you're getting killed from the enemy red line by a sniper, you should take more care in what you're doing.
Often times you're already winning and presenting yourself as a target. Last I checked cover wasn't nerfed. (stop running around like you own the map, be strategic in your movement)

You do know that any prototype suit can survive a Thale's or a Charge Sniper Rifle body shot. There are many fits that survive headshots from both of these weapons. There are even unmodified militia fits that survive a body shot from a Charge Sniper Rifle.
Often snipers have to will run full prototype and that's just to function at a rather meager / standard level of competence. The moment you kill them even once, they're going negative on the match for isk. Anything less than prototype and you're just an annoyance at best.
The thing many of you fail to grasp is..
If you're running around naked in a trash bag with a squirt gun, expect to get owned by a sniper. Who lit the fuse on your tampon? Were crying sacks of **** huh? Half of you sniping fags leave the game when you die once. So don't even talk **** about people that complain about snipers I've ragequit maybe twice in two years. because you know, snipers are patient.
Stop trying to reason with meatbags. It only leads to less patience and RoF snipers... wait that's the RR and Scr as always stated. It's over for Dust when people who play or don't COD but try to turn another game into it because it has more stuff. They love squirt guns while we decide we want to be patient and use longshot darts. Get it. It's hopeless with rush idiots who claim to be versatile but in fact are too discriminate against anything not their play style. After snipers it's tanks and Av so be ready.
