Destiny just isn't it for me and looking in the future I think I'm going to have to wait until MGS5. I know how you feel - Dust sorta seemed a bit too perfect, the concept alone is making other games look weak. But it'll never deliver, and it's hardly fun. Destiny might be fun, so off to it I go. I believe Planetside 2 will fill a lot of voids - but the lack of meta any game honestly has for player interaction is going to make a lot of games seem less interesting.

Mag had a rabidly loyal fan base that kept on playing it and only it, until sony pulled the plug. It may have not been a large base, but it was rabid. For whatever reason, moldy pizza crust 514 has the same type of fanaticism. When Legion is complete, then and only then will the game die. For me though, the game was dead a long time ago. Enjoy your dust, I will be following my destiny and if it does blow, then I can always go back to BF4. To each his own.

Brink came out at a point when the community was desperate for official clan wars and it looked like Brink was going to fill the void. This was after when KZ3 came out, another game that was suppose to kill MAG because of clan support. Most people who moved on from those games came back because of how disappointing the two were.
