HYENAKILLER X WILL FIGHT ANYONE 826	Posted - 2014.09.08 07:16:00 - [1] - Quote Destiny drops in less than 1 day. We all might notice a drop in player count. With that being said I want you to know somethings. You created eve. Eve has been a huge success and is now in the cannon as legend. That will never change. Anyone who is following gaming knows all to well there are 5 eve clones dropping soon. Eve was ground breaking and ahead of its time. It also destroyed my dark orbit clan. F u : ) You were the first to seize that vision. Wars in eve made it onto ign and machinima news. Has wow ever done that with pvp. Has dc universe? Has anyone else? No. Dust 514 is not graphically as vivid as cod. But anyone who has played dust and ghosts can tell you that ghosts over all lacks the variety of load outs and game style that dust has. There is no doubt dust plays better than battlefield 4 and crisis 3. You have made an incredibly deep and expansive game Now Destiny drops in the void of no real competition with nee games. Cod has no pve and borderlamds has no pvp. No matter what the future is for dust. You will see me here. You will see me in legion. You might pander to noobs to much with the nerfing, but there is no denying that in this competitive fps market you created something viable, original and inthralling. People will remember that. No can stare at all those dumb azz aliens and ordinary designs for to long. Bungie is taking advantage of a market lull. It did not produce the quality people knew from halo and people will learn that soon enough. CCP <3. My only complaint was vehicles.

I still love playing phantasy star portable, Gods eater burst, monster hunter, and final fantasy type o on psp. I will be playing destiny but it wont replace dust. Im not much of a PC player, i play Warframme, TF2, and want CS:GO. But since im so pro i play on my laptop, KB/MPAD. It did not produce the quality people knew from halo and people will learn that soon enough. +1 As much as I have become sick of CCPs mismanagement of a lot of things, I will be sticking around and thanks to Dust, CCP has gained me as a customer in Eve to get the money that I no longer spend on Dust while I sit back and enjoy what I can of this mess. When it comes to Legion I can not wait for the day it is released, "green lighting it" is only being held back because they know the damage it will do to the Dust community when people realize the move is certain so I expect to see more of a "beta" release for only dust and eve players when the news finally drops that Legion is "greenlit". Destiny can keep their nickelodeon characters and terribly predictable AI.

Good on you. Glad to see some praise for DUST because we all too often want to rage and cry about what's wrong with it - when we all know this is the single most addictive fps experience available.. And here's the thing: DUST could still do it - there's really nothing stopping this PS3 client game from evolving into something that could be darker, grittier and orders of magnitude deeper than Destiny and a viable alternative choice to that game. We don't even need a PS4 port to do that, tbh. I'll be playing Destiny for primarily one reason: because of the the way my hunter handles. I can't help it - after years of wrestling with DUST's crappy mechanics, the way that hunter moves and fights is like opiates for my fps brain. Basically i can try and perform at my best and push the edge without having to protect myself from the developer's failures with the game client. Regardless of Destiny or other games(Archege looks like it's going to have some real depth), i'll be here fighting for New Eden until they turn the servers off. The only thing standing in the way of DUST becoming what it could be is whoever is really calling the shots at CCP. PSN: RationalSpark

You have got to be kidding me!? I played kill zone three, ghosts, battle feild 4 and crisis 3, the only thing that comes close to ghosts is kz3. But kz3 was pure garbage as far as maps are concerned. Also eve clones are popping up EVERYWHERE so eve cant be "that niche". Agreed everywhere else. except ghosts looks terrible graphically. its still using the old quake engine lmao. killzone looks better, tomb raider looks better, witcher looks better, i dont like crisis very much but it looks better. i could go on for 5 minutes just listing games that look better than ghosts. hell last gen battlefield titles look better than ghosts does. no one looks at a cod game and says "wow the graphics" no one. and anyone who says they do is lying or doesnt know what the term or implication means. and videos on youtube of cats meowing has hundreds of millions of views. its not a gauge of whether or not a lot of people watching a video know anything about the game in it or what it is. Important thing though is that if "looks" of the graphics determined everything, then your argument would be more compelling. If you look at Square Enix's "Tomb Raider" great game imo with superior graphics across all platforms and storyline. Guess what though, far from being the commercial success SE desired despite the critical acclaim and awards as well as player reviews. You wanna know how we declare that? How many titles are an mmo sandbox that actually have survived AND have a well known place in mmo gaming? ESO isn't and neither is SWtOR. Wildstar is close but isn't a full sandbox with the only legit sandbox gaming probably emerging since EvE with a considerable general audience focus being ArchAge and that's a lot in terms of years and titles that have emerged. Most MMO's have a clone effect that are either showing traces from EQ & other MMO's around the 3 years when WoW was launched including FF11 and the like. Alot of the players don't mind white~knighting Dust and saying "its unlike Destiny and Destiny will get old fast", well Destiny IS NOT Dust514 and Destiny is a game with the support of Bungie and Activision. CCP is only going to do hotfixes with Dust514 and that's it. There is NO SUPPORT beyond that. If we were talking languages, Dust514 is Latin, dead with nothing to add with it and cool to speak and use but that's it. Destiny won't be for everyone but it still has a better immersion than TitanFall [which someone failed to point out was just an exclusive like Dust] and is platform locked allowing it to gain more people. Destiny won't be this game that changes everything and that I agree with but with nothing like it around and with it showing more polish and clean running that Dust514, it can be a financial, commercial and audience success. If there is a game it resembles, it is Unchartered that I'd say it's closest and simply adds more game modes and elements to enjoy. This at least means we can have more fun with Destiny than we did with Dust w/out second guessing the future of the game.
