Before the Ammo Capacity was increased on the Swarm Launchers, Specialist variants were given a higher lock time to balance out their lower CPU/PG requirements.
However, this leads to nobody using them, as you're lowering your DPS. It would be much more effective to simply downgrade a few Modules to make room for a normal Swarm Launcher.
With that in mind, could the SSL simply have the old ammo capacity, and have it's lock time normalized with the other variants? This would bring it in line with the other Specialist weapons, which have less ammo to balance out their lower CPU/PG requirements.

This should be the Assault variant. No one uses them in order to engage two vehicles at once, because doing so makes you lose focus...at least that's why I think so. If anything, the Ishukone should get a faster Lock on time in exchange for less damage, or lower lock on range, or something
It would be in line with other Assault variants that have smaller ranges but faster ROF.

People don't engage 2 vehicles at once because in order to do so, you're splitting your damage in half, which does nothing but give two pilots the ability to laugh at you.
Sure, you could bring a friend to lock on to the same 2 targets as well, but it'd be much more practical to just have 2 people use normal Swarms and engage different targets. Not to mention that the fitting requirements are ridiculous (more than a Viziam SCR), meaning that you pretty much need a PRO suit to fit Damage Mods.
There are many different ways to re-make ASLs, but I have to take care of something so I don't have time to go in detail on ways to make it viable atm.
