CCP policy on AUR suits is that they allow early skill access. They are not to be superior to same-tier gear. Hellmar is a proto amarr sentinel. Therefore except for skill requirements, it has to match the proto ISK suits.
If you bought it specifically because it has too many slots and thus broken it is your own fault because you should have known they would fix it. |

It actually would be pay to win if they had extra slots. I don't think you know that they're selling them for 120 aurum under packaged fits. It was my trophy suit, for showing mY loyalty but anyone can use it now. The only reason why I went amarr was because I remembered I had a stack of them sitting in my assets and they looked pretty sexy. I want my sp back, I want my caldari.

Came across two Thales snipers that were quite familiar with the suit prior to the readjustment.
As an aside Ozarow, the "Mauler" heavy suit was also corrected at the same time. It had a heavy and two sidearm slots.

Look ive always been a scout, I had a logi and a assault at 3 , we got the hellmars I figured cool maybe sell em if market ever comes so few months later I get to the point I cant stand dropships so I proto a forge and skill anar heavy because of the hellmars otherwise I would have stuck to swarms and not spent a point in heavies at akk and the only reason I did at all for these rare suits that are now aur suits???!

From rumors to fact:
The winning team (Imperfects) prize was 50 copies (+mediocre Balac's stuff x50)

The prizes were given to all participants of those tournamen team games, meaning there are more than eight players per team awarded.
Now because of that the exact number of Balac's suits initially given is lost I'm afraid.
Neither team has records of all reserver corp members playing matches and I guess CCP staff has changed that much. It may be that not even CCP cant backtrack that. Last possible record is at January 2013 server migration and final reset as those Balac's were generated into redeemable assets (after char reset).
Not to mention current suit count after those few losses (and maybe even biomassed chars omg!)
Add that to the Legends of Dust.
People would enjoy Dust a lot more if they accepted the fact that EVERYTHING is subject to change
