I used to think if I lost it's was because the other team had better gear, more sp into cores, better organization, strategy, knowledge of the maps, used exploits, took advantage of the predictability of new inexperienced players, or I just plain did somthing dumb and cocky and got myself killed. I was right.
Now I know if I see 6-12 N.S. O.H. F.A. ( just examples ) on the opposing team there is a signifigant chance my team is about to get ripped apart, they will be running proto, ect. ect. Nothing will stop them. But now I won't run at them in milita garbage just to feed their k/d, wallets, and ego, and save isk  been there done that.
Now I have decent cores access to a variety of weapons, suits, gear, even tanks and ads ( hate running those last two ). The difference is I'm not stuck in one role and can afford to do anything I want literally forever. That's the fun part.
Lone wolfing is finally fun. ( we could use some new maps tho  )

Yup - is good when you finally get to grips with everything i agree. Game was still fun in the early days - just in a masochistic sort of way!
Nothing wrong with lone wolfing - but if you haven't done it yet get into squads you'll enjoy it even more

I disagree on the new maps. There are quite a few.
What makes this game boring is the lack of game modes.
Adding maps is a huge undertaking with new art and design, balance and bug fixes.
Adding a new game mode must be easier. And I'm not talking about PC vs Pub type modes. I'm talking all we have are skirmish and ambush with a couple variations. Mainly just ambush, or ambush with objectives.
They need secondary objectives. Or just bring back skirmish 1.0 for gods sake. The community has only been crying for it to come back since forever.
They call me "Mr. Vacation"...

I try and squad... Then I hear the whining. Help, help, over here!... Oh your dead and there's 6 guys waiting for me. Or the, this is b.s. their using proto, but continue to run at them in milita gear like lemmings.
My wife can't hit the side of the mcc and she never complains. We almost scored 10k wp combined in one round best squad mate ever. Ramdoms get me killed. The only good reason to squad up anymore is they might be smart enuf to keep the defend order on me
