Because now they are all basically the same color. Im not shitting on ccp but it was a little lazy you just wdnt in and changed them to red. Seriously? Is that all the community wants is for their suit to be coloured red i guess you guys are easy to please. If you ccp can go in and color 3 suits red why cant you give us the new officer weapons because the officer weapons are just proto qith some insane damage and coloured silver.

No the aren't. It's a misinterpretation of what Rattati said in the Delta narrative thread.

I like the look of the standard commandos but at proto lvl I feel they are lacking compared to the amarr. Proto should be more refined in color palette and stand out like the amarr, imo they got it backwards with the rest of the commandos.

it makes sence..
Assault = white
Sentinel = green
mando =red
Logistic =yellow
it gives better suit type recognition though the scout suit colors are a bit messed up as standard gal scout uses same coloring as gal assault.. cal scout uses basic cal suit grey-blue, amarr scout isnt too bad but its still 1/2 assault colored

The reason we are happy is because for so long, us commandos were dumped on, when someone saw us on the battlefield, we would instantly combust into a flaming ball of code. Our only saving grave was the fact that a Porto commando looked more b@d@$$ than any other suit in the game.
Unless of course you could whoop @$$ in a basic commando suit.

The question I have is why and how did all the races come to the same conclusion that they were all going to color code their suit specialisations the same way?
Kinda immersion breaking tbh but still I like the Commando colors.

Every 'class' is supposed to have a specific color. Assaults are white (true even on Assault dropships), Logistics are yellow, Sentinels are green, Commandos are red, Scouts are blue-purple. Proto suits have black coloring in addition to the regular 'suit colors'.
The problem was that commando's aside from the Amarr commando, didn't have the right colors at all (and technically the proto color for the 'new' commando's is somewhat incorrect, but w/e).

The proto galmando is amazing. It feels..... neon genesis evangelion-esqe. I agree that the basic one looks like chunky ironman, but the proto one is just.....mmmmmm.

If you aren't happy about the heavy frames finally getting proper color schemes 6 months after their release, then you sir or madam have first world problems.

i dnt think its bad assualts get white until proto level and logistics get yellow untill proto lvl then its mixed. heavys have their own color till proto and its close to pure
black with slight red. scouts each with respective colors untill proto. i think its cool even with weapons tend to turn black with red
trimming. i for one love the cal commando at basic and adv im like GOOOO GOOOO POWER RANGERS. |
