The map has a ton of spawn points, but will always spawn the entire team in a single group, sometimes they all spawn in the same crate like it's a clown car.

I've been trying to use the lav more with a blaster, but I still dropship sometimes.

The allegedly Smart Deploy will most likely spawn you within a few meters of the sole remaining uplink that is visibly swarming with Red Berries. Considering Smart Deploy was most likely coded by Scottie the AI (or its developer) this is the best that one can expect. You got your wish. There will be no new content. No further development is being done for Dust 514. google for "CCP fan fest legion". In New Eden no SP is wisely spent. CCP will Nerf the reason right out from under you.

My stupid heavy suit won't move fast enough, so when I slip down the hill as soon as I spawn, I end up beyond the redline and can't jump up to escape it in time! 3 consecutive deaths because of 'smart' deploy making me commit suicide.
