Apothecary Za'ki Biomass Positive 736	Posted - 2014.09.02 17:21:00 - [1] - Quote simple idea.. since i think one gm is looking into increasing SP gain and bonus SP weekly amount, and the fact Orbitals are 5000 War points to perform i think the stupidly low point cap on repair tools needs raiseing or removeing all together as it only takes a simple change dropsuit at a DEPO to "get around" the cap as it is removed once you switch suits.. doing this would mean players dont have to unnecessarily change suits causing lag just to remove the point per minute cap. It is of no inconvenience whatsoever to switch suits once per minute, CCP should let logi's farm 10,000+ WP every game unimpeded simply b/c there's a way to exploit the current system. Not everyone can spam equipment anywhere and everywhere & then proceed to hide behind a heavy w/ a rep. tool for the duration of the battle. Only the truly skilled players can pull it off. What happened to the repair tool glow? Why won't CCP answer? Conspiracy?

That is just as valuable as the front guy taking the bullets. They both say +25WP, but the WP reward is given much faster with better repair tools. An easy way to observe this is by observing how slow you get the WP with a basic Repair Tool, and comparing that to a Core Focused Repair Tool. DUST 514's 1st Matari Commando -HAND

For example, when OB's were first introduced you were not awarded WP's for damaging vehicles. The active scanner wasn't even in the game yet. Add to that, the squad size has increased to 6 from 4 (I believe). No, there absolutely needs to be a cap on repair tool WP's. It prevents people from gaming the system and getting 5,000+ WP's per pub by having their buddies furiously mate with live hand grenades. He imposes order on the chaos of organic evolution...
