Well, I imagine this topic has been discussed before but here I go anyways.
What do you guys say about spawning in from your vehicle at the beginning of a match or every time you die?
It could be an option in the spawn screen.
Plus it would bring about faster vehicle play into the matches. But I imagine that a change like this will obviously need a client update.

Wouldn't mind this. I'd rather have spawn pads or something (Supply Depot?) for medium/large vehicles (DSs/Tanks now) and RDVs for light vehicles (LAVs) out in the field. Heck, or just have them fall from space like in StarHawk.
I just really don't like the RDV too muchGǪ |

And the only vehicles that would be able to spawn this way would be Dropships and Tanks.
It gives a more tactical gameplay.
And while this negates the risk of the pilot getting ambushed while he calls in the vehicle, there is still the risk of them getting blown up on the way to the battle.

I don't know how will this bring back the old Murdertaxis.
It's just a way to get pilots to spawn with their vehicle.
I'm not saying that when I pilot calls in his vehicle he is getting the option to teleport to the vehicle as it is being called down.
More like you have 2 options to spawn. 1. With his vehicle. And I don't mean the vehicle re-encarnating out of the blue. I mean you'll be inside the vehicle as the RDV comes down with it and drops you off. 2. Normal spawn and call in an RDV
But for the 1st option to work, CCP would need to make some areas where the vehicles can spawn and where they can't spawn.

I like this idea for tanks and DS for various reasons. It would be like EVE pod tech lorewise. This would elemenate the need for pilot suits and from players double dipping with a heavy suit. There can be a cap on the number on the field and you auto spawn as infantry if you just sit there waiting for a chance to spawn in a vehicle for too long.
Brick tanking a scout suit since April 2013!

imagine seeing 3 tanks spawn from an uplink. how would you go bout dealing with that? just spreading your cheeks and accepting the punishment?
and if you're strictly talking the beginning of a match, like a ground spawn, then what's the problem with waiting 10 seconds for it to drop?

Anything that makes the rdv go away is good with me. I always wanted my dropship to spawn in the MCC and shoot out all epically from a launch tube like in Valkyrie.

I don't mean like spawining in out of nowhere. I mean like you choose to spawn inside your vehicle while it is being dropped by the RDV But obviously this means you have to be at the spawn menu and not just teleport to your vehicle.

Since some of you guys think that I am saying that vehicles should spawn in like infantry does. I am going to explain:
You are in the spawn menu (or warbarge if FW or PC) You get a special button alowing you to spawn in with a vehicle. (Only HAVs and Dropships) Once you choose to spawn with your vehicle, you'll spawn into the battle riding below the RDV inside the vehicle of your choice.
I am not preventing RDVs, and having a special spawn pad for vehicles that is capturable (and camped) is a bad idea. Also haaving vehicles spawn out of Uplinks (I certainly would laugh my ass off if his ever happens)
This is a good way for dedicated pilots to already come into the battle with their vehicle. Of course there is still the danger of getting shot down while you are being dropped off with your vehicle.
