As always, the only thing anyone calls for are buffs. This is why our TTK is about a quarter second.

Well, since our range puts us into a lot of engagements with sentines it's gonna need something to compete. So range, RoF or dmg.
And right hipfire for the weapon meant to be the best hipfire weapon would be nice.

Breacher maybe a tad bit more range (a very small increment) the damage is good don't use the tactical or burst variants the normal AR definitely needs a little something but I just can't put my finger on it. |

Well it takes about 80% of a clip to kill a heavy with around 1.4k hp in it's optimal. If the damage at proto was near 36 we wouldn't need to touch the long range weapons hip fire and ability to do close range.
The ion pistol should be doing 70 ~ 80 damage from std to proto with a 5x multiplier for the charge shot along with a change to it overheating after a partial charge. The scrambler is doing more damage to armor even though it's a laser based weapon along with no overheating and the better headshot multiplier. Another thing that might work is to make it so all pistols have a high headshot multiplier to make them as good as smgs.
The shotgun should have it's optimal moved to 10m and do less damage per shot. The standard shotgun with 12 pellets is doing 480 damage which will one shot most of the players running around. That damage paired with the band-aid cloak animation fix and the huge 8 shots in a clip make the shotgun too powerful. If you increase the optimal range and reduce the pellets to 8 and fix the firing from cloak the shotgun would be in a better place. |

I've been playing with my old friend, the AR, over the past week or so.
I agree that it pales in comparison to other guns at range -- which is to be expected given its stats.
However, I would like to see it a bit more dominant up close. The ScR (with modded controller) dominates it. The CR is far superior. Even the aRR with its delay seems to kill a bit better....but maybe I'm just rusty. |

It needs the damage of 1.7. It would justify the range nerf it currently had.
