Why not import some songs from Eve? Just add 1 or 2 of the most actiony sounding songs from Eve Retribution Seven Clans Akat Mountains (I personally prefer this one)
And I know that you canplay with your own custom soundtrack for the game. But it doesn't really help for headset users since they hear the game, the music (and if squaded) their squads voices all coming from one the same place.
At least with a blutooth mic you can hear your squad separately.
If you are a scout and you only use EWAR then you have my salutes o7

to be honest, when i play a game too much, the music starts to... eat away at my brain... like a psychoactive drug
i believe games like this that are focused on communication and tactics shouldn't be cluttered up with music, especially during battle.
Destiny's music seemed alright but... Trust me I know from experience it will get old after a while.

Destiny's music seemed alright but... Trust me I know from experience it will get old after a while. I know what you mean. Music can get distracting. But that's why you could always lower the Music Volume from the in-game menu

Plus, a key to a good game is also it's soundtrack. You can't have a good game with a dull soundtrack. or just use the good old OST that it used to have

There was the log in music (Don't know why they took it out) And the battle music that had drums.
Both were much better than the ones we have now.

I still waiting For CCP to add in some ambient music like the one that was used in the beginning of Dust 514's first trailer. You know, something that sets the tone, mood and atmosphere for the game!

Why the hell aren't the Dust of now sound effects like that? The sound effects we have now are crap and cheaply made.
I want to feel fear whenever I hear a Railgun go off. Not that cheap imitation of an electrical charge going off.
Combat Rifles and SMGs need more "boom" in their sound effects. Right now they sound like a gas leak.
Plasma Rifles need their old sound back.
Missiles more "boom" into their sound effects.
Other than that. Every sound effect is alright.

I always personally thought the Combat rifle in particular should sound a little similar to the assault rifle from Section 8(the pre-apha version that is). It would give the CR a little bit of raw power to it's firing sound effects!

The only music I know are the login and the victory ones... if I could call it music.
Surplus of Rare Artifacts was great, though. I remember hearing back then when my friend had the game during closed beta. I couldn't bring myself to get the game because I didn't have a job back then haha |

Ya know you could just hit the PS button, get to the XMB and start playing music and play Dust at the same time. Its one of the very few titles that allow you to play the game and music at the same time. And if you want the eve online music just search for it on the installed files, copy them to a USB stick and get them on the PS3.
They say when you die you see a white light which then forms the line of:
