My 15 proto fits that I barely use are taking up space.. but everytime I go to delete the fits I'm like "I should delete this.... but what if I need it in the future?" So it just says there

There was talk of folders in the fittings menu, Rat guy I think said it...maybe it was logi ginger bro. Hopefully that is not just for Legion.
The sea of crap is quite an anomaly, staying afloat justified to see exactly what else is in there floating with you.

Wish there was a tab or if I could create a new folder for different fits heavy medium light or by cost 10k and under 50k+ 200k+ the scrolling is a bit of a pain especially when your in a hurry and accidentally pick the wrong fit can be costly |

An internal error deleted one of my logi fits, but the game still thinks the deleted fit exists, only i can't access it...
So i'm stuck on 29 fits 
32 kills with militia shotgun. OP? naaaaaah

I like to keep it at 1 page (is it 12?) and still cover all the roles.
My question is, what do people do with 30 suits? Seems kinda silly to have all these combinations or whatever when a few will be better than the rest. Find the combo that works best, and keep that one. And I'm not referring to tiers. I'm talking about having duplicates of the same suit with each having one or two items different. I'm guessing the philosiphy behind it is to be ready for any situation? I dunno, last I checked the battlefield changes quickly and it's counter-productive to run and change suits constantly.
Besides all that, I hate long lists.

I would actually prefer when you are creating a fit that everything be catagorized like it is in the market. Im really sick of having to scroll through 100 weapons just to get the one i want.

Yeah, especially for my logi fittings. I have multiple variations of equipment/weapon layouts, so that I can bring in just the right fit at just the right time.
And now that most vets are into multiple roles, the need for more slots has increased in the last year.
I've talked with some other vets, and you know, I heard a strange thing from a few that I bet CCP hasn't even considered: some have told me that some of the reason they run proto in pubs is because they need all those 30 variations for PC, and they are not going to endlessly create/delete fittings just to run standard/advanced fittings in pub matches. Wonder how much protostomping would decrease if slot layouts were increased? Would be interesting to find out.
How about 50+ slots, and do something about the hangtime that occurs because the GUI is trying to load the suit image? Or make the display of a suit an option you can enable/disable? Honestly, I could care less what my suit looks like in Dropsuit Fittings, and care more about making quick updates to a fitting during and between matches.

30 suits was no problem when I only had one type of suit that I was skilled into.
Now that I have 5 different proto suits, 30 is not nearly enough -- particularly for the various scanning scout/logi fits used for PC. |

Then delete a few.
Those of us with many different suits need more fitting slots. I have 4 suits at proto, 2 more at advanced. That's 16 different suits.
Running logi I could easily have 5 different fits per tier with iterations of the 4 light weapons plus equipment I am skilled for. That's a conservative 15 fits for just one race of logi suit. |

Totally capiche here.
My list needs to be neatly organized. Clear naming-conventions that groups types and two digit numbers for costs. Most importantly optimized for minimal scrolling and quick name recognition.
Anything with over ten fits feels cumbersome.

We definitely need more. I have 12 different logi fits alone that I'll run because I'm an uplink/hive logi. Then there's the AV and scout suits which comprise the rest.

id rather have the ability to lock modules to suits so if i have 2 suits that uses 1 module and i have 100 of that module when i die in one suit the other doesnt go down to 99.
i want to buy 200 and lock 100 on 1 suit and 100 on another so i can restock suits instead of total modules.

This is the most useful idea I've ever heard.
When my suits share modules (for example, all my suits have a Complex Armor Repairer), I keep track of how much is in use. I count the amount of suits with a module and do the math. I also have to take into account how many of the module is on a suit. Then I stock accordingly. This also applies to weapons and equipment. When I make a new suit, I stock whatever I add to keep it equal to the total amount in use. It feels very organized, but it's kinda time consuming.
Shouldn't every suit/vehicle have separate stocks for every piece of it? Imma head over to Features and Ideas, this is an amazing idea.
Though I suppose not everyone would roll this way, so the ability to toggle would be necessary.

i agree.. i cannot have enough slots.. i had to delete my starter fits to make room cause im a logibro and also going for medium suit specialist so i got basic and advanced logi and assault of min. gal. cal. sofar.. amarr will be next so thats like 2 to 3 fittings per assault, maybe 2 to 4 per logi so that barely leaves me 2 slots for AV fitted suits.
i pub alot so more then advanced isnt really necessary tho advanced on a FW LP proto suit is just only a tiny bit more costly (extra equip high and low slots) then it is for a normal full advanced fit advanced suit and gives me more reason to go play FW which also gives me alot of adv and proto gear/suits back from the epic salvage at the end of the match..
so in conclusion.. id say we need 50 to 60 slots..

perhaps instead of 1 huge list of 50 or 60.. they made the list into 2-4 pages you change through with left and right for page change and up and down to select which suit in the page you selected.

i only run both uplink and hive when im running on a proto suit.. as most of the time i run Rep Rez Drop for the start.. then move to Rep Rez hive for a while then back to rep rez drop to place uplinks again.. and repeat.
tho if its a heavy fight and uplinks are getting popped like virgins at a frat party i switch to dual uplinker.. and place them in the strangest yet still viable locations out of range of scouts OP passive scan range.

That screen lags because it's trying to load the image of the suit itself, I think. I say get rid of it -- in the middle of battle, I don't care wtf my suit looks like, when I'm trying to either restock or change a module quickly. If I want to see my suit, I can admire it all I want in my MQ or the Warbarge.

It would be nice to categories your fittings into folders, like have all your caldari suits in a folder, or scouts or cheap fits in a folder, or AV fits in a folder etc. |
