well I finally switched from boundless to burst dear lord that thing chewed up 3 red dots within 2 seconds (1 scout, 2 assault).
i know this sucker will be nerfed soon so murdur taxi here i come

YA it just melts 1000ehp Assaults like nothing and even other heavies with more then that get melted in less then a second. |

Whoever tought it was a good idea to make it that strong and that obviously obscene is beyond redemption at ccp, seriously if you played the game you would have realized it in an instant ! |

I tried the burst on my alt and my hit detection just told me "Nope, you don't get to use this weapon."  I emptied the clip on a heavy standing still at almost point blank range and I didn't even break his shields, lol. But I do get mowed down by it in an instant.

against a less-than 400 EHP suit at point-blank range, maybe. its not that hard to counter though... just keep your distance.
a MLT shotty will kill a cal sentinel in about 3-5 shots... a proto shotty may kill him in like 2...

I predicted weapon locking on Sentinels and a systematic nerfing to uselessness. The Devs are semi on track but aren't putting any serious effort into it. Many of the changes are so mixed with balance, nerfing, and buffs to outside factors they've made it impossible to use the old adage, "CCP hates Heavies."
The only blatant nerfing was the Forge Guns last December and Caldari Sentinel in hotfix Charlie. Some might argue the heat changes on HMGs was also a straight up nerf but I'm holding judgement until after observing how other weapons are re-balanced.
I have a lot of respect for Classic Logis. New Eden could use more Healers.

The heavy drive-by is always popular and you can never go wrong with JLAVs if you wanna be a royal pain.
