How about adding 1dB to the scan profile for every 25 armor points above your Dropsuits normal armor level?
or maybe +2% or 5% to your profile for each added 50 points or armor.
This would affect all dropsuits. |

Delta should come with a SP or infantry SP refund so that a campaign for one is not needed .

nope it should be by weight not armor thatd make running one ferro still be ****** when your trying to be sneaky. I use my dampeners and a ferro with a hack mod but i am not made for fighting and i atleast want to be able to tactically retreat.

And they can't do this already?
Instead of nerfing Scan Profile and/or Armor Plates because scouts are touching you wrong with their Shotguns/Nova Knives/Remote Explosives, how about you start leveling Scan Precision and Active Scanners?

No - speed for the most part does not effect gameplay. It does little to the 800 EHP snipers (adding profile points to this will do nothing to deter it, either). It does little to the 1100 EHP Heavies, they don't change their behavior because they lose .15 meters/sec. Double it and effect turning and aiming, then maybe.
Extreme Armor is not deterred enough.
And almost all of you, thought I was talking about the 500-600 EHP Scouts. That alone should make you wonder. |

I honestly don't know if you're being a jerk or not, based on past experience with your Corp, I'm assuming your not being helpful. 4/5 in those categories.
And again, I'm talking about all Armor, not just Scouts with Armor.

if you were going to do it with Armor plates, you may as well do it with shield extenders too.
Armor tanking isnt getting any more out of hand than shield tanking is. i'd say both HP types are balanced though, so i wouldnt touch either.
