LIke slavery. They don't just take anyone. In fact at the least it is frowned upon by the current leaders. to the point it has very sharply harmed the slave trade. Also to some extent it is illegal to take slaves. It wasn't entirely clear what the limits or requirements are.

also the gallaente, caldari, and Amarr are all guilty of using slaves on some level. The only ones innocent are the Minmatar. though they have just broke free from slavery themselves. time will tell if they go down the same road taking slaves themselves.
also the slaves can earn their freedom by showing they are not just a moron that is lazy. in fact two entire races became citizens of the Amarr empire. Ni-Kunni and Khanid.
Also abuse of slaves is frowned upon if not out right illegal. Its kinda fuzzy in parts about if its illegal. abuse includes hurting, malnutrition, cramped quarters, and anything that affects the health or causes discomfort of said slave.
Also their reason for taking slaves in the first place is to upraise them above animals. To show them their gods ways and help them to work off their sins. Not just use them for labor. Though Labor is part of how they help them work off their sins. they also teach them trades. Not all slaves are labors some are priests, accountants, and other jobs that have nothing to do with manual labor. They honestly believe to some degree they are helping those enslaved. It wasn't malice or pride or to rule them all. It was to show them all the glory of their god. |

I was trying to point out that the Amarr did what they did with good intent. even going as far as finding nonviolent ways of gaining slaves to cause the least harm possible. The main source of Minmatar slaves being from the Minmatar themselves. So if they should be pissed at anyone. It should be their traitor brothers and sisters. Abandoning them for their own gain.
Also Pride is a fools fortress. it imprisons the weak and drags them down when proven folly. The whole time the truly ignorant screaming foul the entire way.
Pride is not the way of the Amarr. Arrogance is not their way either. But we are not all perfect. Just because the Amarr show others the way. Doesn't mean from time to time we don't stop to remind our brothers of their own faults and show them their own folly. In fact striving for perfection is folly in itself. Unless undertaken for the purpose of improving oneself to show others you can always improve, not to hold one above another. |

I don't bring the real world into this game. mainly because all the liars in DC can name each other what ever they want. They all lie. they all cheat and they all suck. |

YA with the sex slaves, drugs, ****, and rampant crime in their cities. Entitled people doing entitled things. Also forcing people to be drug mules. there are a lot of bad things going down in the Federation that just don't happen in the Empire. so each has its bad points. Haven't really read that much on the caldari just yet but should get around to it. |
