These things are beast. I use them on my advanced cal scout, and holy crap these things take down heavys really fast. My fit is this: http://www.protofits.com/fittings/shared/430/5385
I would go minmatar, but I would too lazy to get proto. Knifing is fun

Shottys are still more OP and more dependable.

I personally think the NK is more dependable than the shotgun in situations where you happen to be behind a large group of tanked hostiles. It's faster to knife them once than to fire a couple of shotgun shells into each one. Plus it's quieter.
Why use one scout suit and be good at one thing when you can be a #Omniscout.

With that NK and KC PG decrease, I can fit proto knives on my M-1 with basic KCs too(and a PG mod). Cheap suit, quick, lots of killing power.

You are so freaking right on both.
Post Charlie being able to shoehorn an ADV Kin-Cat on my cost effective Minja ALT was like the parting of the Red Sea. The changes were pretty minor but they ended up being like a deliverance.
But seriously as much as I enjoy Proto knives as better high/low modules are fitted cost savings need to be found somewhere. Playing that Toon solo can get expensive quick since my blood-for-the-blood-god attitude does not survive contact against tight squads.
I have a lot of respect for Classic Logis. New Eden could use more Healers.

I will get it to prof 3 like all the other weapons I use. I ran the aurum knives that I got from the event and thought that I would run out before I got proto. I started with like 30ish and have like 17 left. I played tons of matches and I don't know why I still have that many.
