If Project Legion becomes something more than a prototype, we will not leave our DUST 514 players behind. You would be able to bring your character name, applicable skills/inventory, and other elements of progression with you. We are still working on the details and we will have more to announce soon.
Legion will be on PC; Dust is through the PSN.
How do we actually know who's who without having to use PSN logins for Legion?

PSN only facilitates connecting to tranquility, thats all it does (plus PS store for aurum, etc) We've ALWAYS logged into Dust through the PSN. I'm saying how do we keep our characters in Legion, if the only way to access those characters was with our PSN logins?

They're already able to send us emails to redeem newsletter rewards. They can confirm identities through those. That said: I hope the game dies a horrible, painful and expensive death . . . . . . Eve players will probably throw buckets of money at it.
Last time I played, I had 2 friends who played eve doing orbital support in FW. Apparently they get shitloads of LP just for firing.

"through" is the main word here All character data is only stored on TQ, not some PSN server, its not rocket science, its account transfer While the solution has been posted, that's not what I mean. I mean the username and password we're logging in with is all through Sony. Characters may be in CCP's servers, but there's currently no way to access them without the PSN login info.
