Buying the EVE Second Decade collectors edition gets you the Templar set (sentinel, assault and logi suit bpos and scrambler rifle, scrambler pistol and laser rifle bpo) or you can buy teh code for isk from the tradign forum. or get a recruit link (dust514.com/recruit/) and try get people to get new players in to hit the targets, a full list of BPOs and boosters is available at teh link too. as far as i know they're the only ways to get a bpo now

Check the code bazaar. There may be some people still trading codes for isk.
Also, buying isk is frowned upon and possibly bannable.
I purchased a elite pack and have a ton of BPOs. They should really bring them back as collecting them was fun. I have a all BPO fit that's perfect for ambush isk grinding. They said they were damaging to the non existent economy but the farming of isk on districts was left to inflate it. Go figure.

search dust514 on ebay, look for EVE ONLINE Collector's Edition DUST 514, something like that, I just did a search and some came up, heck one for $10 came up if that worth it to ya.

You can buy BPOs from the playstation store.
I highly reccomend them: anything permanent like BPOs or boosters (SP gained is permanent) is a good investment.

I've looked but I couldn't find any BPO's.
just a ton of aurum, and small packs that have misc. suits and weapons, some aurum, and sometimes a booster.
bought one for 99 cents because... well, why not?

If you haven't signed up for the monthly newsletter, you can now and get a bunch of free stuff from previous newsletters. There were a couple boosters (even an Omega iirc) and a bunch of AUR/special edition stuff.
E: no BPOs though, the only way I know you can get them now is the New Player Recruitment Program, unless it's changed. |

A friend of mine traded $20 for 200 million ISK. I'm hearing this is frowned upon? I'd like to hear an explanation to that.

by yours truly  and canbe found here but the character has to have been created before the newsletter was sent out but you might get some stuff that you missed. you also have to sign up for the newsletter first to be eligible.
also buyign isk is frowned upon because it breaks the EULA and your trading CCP's intellectual property. there was an issue in EVE Onlien too but since PLEX were introduced isk selling has eased up greatly.
also there are NO bpos on PSN store anymore or in Gamestop/GAME website/stores as they have been removed because accordign to CCP BPOs break the economy (y'know that non existant economy because the market is 100% NPC)
also th eGuristas LAV code tickets on Ebay have expired so if you buy one you're wasting your time. i think the expiry date was 30/31st march 2014, i had a ticket somewhere to double check but think i threw it out.
if you really want BPOs your eithe rgonna have to spend $100 or make 50 friends and convince them to play dust

Do the templar suits apply any racial/role bonuses you have speced into like the dren suits?
