"Smart Deploy"is anything BUT smart....
I do not want to spawn in the middle of a nest of heavies. Nor do i want to choose "Smart Deploy" AND end up on a Drop uplink completely camped by the enemy team. 
Am I the only one in this situation? or is this bad luck ?

I've pretty much stopped playing ambush because of this. Its stops being funny after you spawn in front of the same tank for the fifth time. |

It depends on whether you press the triangle or the X button (I think, it has been awhile). Triangle spawns you on the present random spawn point (again, trying to remember. Might be the opposite).
If that is not working then CCP done F'ed up again and broke their own game since the last hotfix.

Wait for Uplinks.
If none appear, bring some or AFK for free ISK.
It was Auto Deploy, but that wasn't up to CCP's level of trolling their own customers.
CCP hates charitable organizations and players who would prefer to donate to them.

Youre lucky if thats what u get.
How about when Potato deploy spwans only you (rest of team is on the other side of map) in front enemys.
Or when it spawns you.. and youre dead before you even see the light.
Just never press triangle 2nd time if enemy team destroyed your at first contact.
Trust me. We (many people) know ambush spawn points. And we will be there even before you spawn there.

If any uplinks are present, even using smart deploy will default to the only uplink which is most likely being camped. If your whole team dies, wait for all the uplinks to be destroyed then use triangle to spawn in a new location.
Some people like to farm WP by placing uplinks in horrible places so that their team will be spawning and dying repeatedly.

I understand now.... I guess i am not the only one. and thanks for the tips and tricks.
The thing is i love Ambush, it s the fastest way to get ISKs ( as the new guy, that's the only thing i am looking for) and the closest to TDM.
