A clip is a strip of metal that holds rounds of amunition used in older rifles such as M1Garand or SKS, what we use in dust and most firearms in real life to load our weapons are called magazines.
I cant understand why ccp cant at least get weapon terms correct, then again they dont understand weapons mechanics either. (Lack of recoil for automatics) |

The only people who are butt hurt about people saying Clips instead of Magazines are gun nuts.

We go through cycles on this. Like the difference between guns and firearms. It doesn't hurt to point out the correct English although the important thing is people understand what is being said. So use whatever.
I have a lot of respect for Classic Logis. New Eden could use more Healers.

Clips is way more practical when on comms.
- "My clip's about to run dry. Someone mind finishing this guy off?"
- "My magazine's about to run dry. Someone mind finishing this guy off?"
Which one would you rather say? The one that's accurate, or the one which conveys the same meaning while getting your message out even faster?

I find it highly ironic the person who was completely willing to make up their own scanning numbers, after several people corrected him, and continued to stick with erroneous numbers, now wants to nit pick and make sure everyone uses terms magazine and clip correctly.
Contradictions abound.
