The AA was pretty crazy, made me laugh thinking of all the people complaining about the "aim bot" in Dust.

I never had the same issue with having to downscale, myself, 720p runs just fine. I either lagged or I didn't. Then again, my PS3 is wired into my home Ethernet and I also have a Sony TV and receiver with game mode on, so maybe that's the secret.

Anyway, I'm sticking on PS3 until Xmas. Will have to keep an eye out once I make the switch.

Now i don't feel like looking for good players on there, i am sure ill come across some eventually, but i would like to start with a team of Dust Mercs, ideally with people i know to have near or better then me gungame to tackle some of Destiny's toughest content. Their raid on "Normal" Difficulty got tried for by 6 they say good gungame guardians for 16 hours and they failed to accomplish it and then there is "Hard" difficulty as-well after it. The least amount we would need is 6, but the more the merrier so we could run multiple strikes at the same time. I wonder if we could get together with some of the greatest Dust Mercs on here, how we would fare or breeze through the pve content and have some fun on the pvp part with all our Legendary equipment. Ran Legendary Strikes and played Expert modes in the Alpha. I'm a precision shooter with more than decent gun game for PVE (414-2 in a Hard mode Strike in Beta) and plenty of Raid experience i.e. FFXI/IV. I run assault on there with SR as backup atm. Higher up prolly will be the same. For PVP I'm waiting for Skirmish/Rumble/Salvage to see if it's something I'll like. COD-like TTK in Control aka 3-point domination isn't my cup of tea. Sorry, but all i ever did in dust was do it all Solo, the only time ive grouped up was for the squad cup, idd say record some footage and put it on here or if you have a ps4, record some blacklight to compare but i doubt it will. If you are gonna play Destiny solo, you will be missing quite a bit of content and legendary items, while in Dust it was very possible to solo since its a lobby shooter and nothing more, but Destiny is going to have PVE and loads of it, more then likely you will not even be able to enter the raid without being in a party of 6. It's your loss, btw if you are going to outperform this party just on your wholesome solo selve, idd really wanna see some of that recorded footage, cuzz i am still waiting on it. It's nothing to do with the receiver or Ethernet, its just if you are accustomed to a solid 60-100 fps stable at all times, and then have to play with an FPS around that when under heavy load buckles down to 15-25 fps and at best reaches 30, you tend to not be happy about it and switch down to a lower resolution. There is also a diffrence between push and pull type control, DS3 pushes the camera around, so the game has more time to render the scene, with KBM we can pull it 360 degree in 1 swipe and can cause it to feel laggy. And there is also the matter of perception, in most peoples brains, the brain fills in skipped frames on others not so much so we see and feel the skipped framerate much more then people who do not have this issue. And then there is the akward KBM version we have for Dust, witch in 720p feels like we are aiming in a oval shape instead of a round shape, it's still there in 360p but the added framerate makes up for allot. But this has to do because we have a virtual DS3 overlay instead of direct KBM input. In the end it all adds up to a nearly unplayable level. Winner of the EU Squad Cup "Blacklight (PS4)"
