You are also forgetting the discounted games, which you will still continue to play after purchase regardless of whether or not you renew your subscription.

At $50 a year, that is a damn good deal.

So, basically I can rent 2 games and get small discounts with a a yearly subscription. That doesn't sound good at all. There's no way I'm spending enough on video games per year to make that worth it.

How do multiple accounts on a system work for the PS4?
Like, if the owner of the system has a PS+ account but I want to have my own character/stats while playing on their system, does my account also have to be subscribed to PS+?
